Westend Shopping Center is one of Hungary’s most emblematic shopping centers, which has steadily retained its leading position within the domestic retail sector since its handover – that is, for more than 19 years now. As the flagship development in the Granit-Polus portfolio, Westend Shopping Center combines a shopping center with an „A” category office complex located over 16 000 m2 and the 4-star superior Crowne Plaza Budapest Hotel. The project has established a new district in the heart of Budapest, providing one of the largest urban shopping and entertainment opportunities. The dramatic water features unique amenities: the roof garden of 3 hectares and garden promenades complement the diversity of commercial uses and have enabled the project to evolve as a significant public attraction for the region. The center never rests satisfied with its success, but keeps renewing in accordance with the demands of the customers, the market and retailers. Thanks to the past years’ enormous renewal project, the following stores had set up in the shopping center: Under Armour, American Eagle, Guess, Spar, Deichmann, Desigual, Zara, Stradivarius, Bershka, Pull&Bear, H&M with H&M Home, Massimo Dutti, Humanic, Hervis, The Body Shop, Kiehl’s, Belozzo, Vapiano and Okay Italia. In addition, the first and only 4DX cinema in Hungary opened its doors in one of Westend’s 14 screening rooms. The renewal continued in 2014 with the grand opening of Massimo Dutti and Scotch and Soda. As a result of all the positive changes, Westend welcomes over 20 million visitors per year and offers a wide selection of more than 400 stores. These successful and popular stores also confirm that WestEnd is the best choice for retailers to appear in a well attended shopping center reaching a wide target group.
