Atrium Center is the first and largest shopping center in Arad, which opened on 23rd March 2010. Arad, the capital city of Arad county, is an important industrial center that hosts two universities and is the third largest city in Western Romania, with a total population of around 160 000. The city is considered one of the most dynamic in Romania due to its higher proportion of 15 to 59 year olds in the population. The shopping center is organised on three levels and it is built on a unique triangular structure, with a total built area of 67 500 m2, out of which is 28 793 GLA. It has been built this way so that it can offer a wide range of shops, entertainment, food court and supermarket areas. At this moment it has more than 110 retail units. The shopping center is situated right next to the main train station and the main bus station. It is easily accessible from any corner of the city, either by car or by public transport. In the four years of its operation, it has become the natural choice of the people of Arad for shopping and entertainment.
